    4. Can the service be used on all mobile phones?
No, the service is built to run on java enabled phones only. If your phone is less than twelve months old then it is likely to support java, although there are exceptions. In order to check the compatibility of your handset click on the link below:

Alternatively, you can go through the download process and we will check to see if your handset is compatible with our service. 7. How much will this service cost me?
Ladbrokes do not charge you for this service, however there will be network data charges from you operator. Placing a bet should cost you pennies but it is advisable that you contact your network operator for definitive costs if you would like clarification.
    8. How long does it take to download?
This depends on the type of Internet connection used (GPRS/EDGE/UMTS), but it shouldn't take more than 2 minutes per game.
    9. I received the service message with the embedded game link, but it isn't in my message inbox.
The service message, or WAP push, you received will not be stored in your normal SMS inbox. Please use the link below to find where it is located according to your handset model.

      Service Message Locator

If you still have trouble locating the service message, you will also receive a standard sms with the link inside it. This will go to your normal message inbox, and you simply need to use the link to activate the download.
    10. I've downloaded the service, but can't seem to connect.
On some handsets you might successfully download the service but might find that you can't connect. This is probably because you have the incorrect GPRS settings. To resolve this you need to ask your network operator to send you the GPRS settings for the MOBILE INTERNET or MOBILE WEB as opposed to WAP. Please refer to the network operator contact information.
    11. What is content blocking?
The following information applies to UK network operators only.

All UK network operators have implemented a policy of blocking certain types of content and services on their network. This has been done in order to prevent anyone under the age of 18 from accessing these services. This means that adults are required to "opt in" in order to use certain services. This includes the Ladbrokes Mobile Casino.
    12. How do I remove content blocking?

Simply put, you need to verify that you are over the age of 18 with your network operator, and this usually means registering your credit card details with them. A guide on how to achieve this with each network operator can be found below.

      Vodafone

You can remove content blocking on your Vodafone handset by using the Vodafone WAP service during the download process. Alternatively you can unblock your phone online, by calling Vodafone Customer Services, or in person at any Vodafone store.

Vodafone will deduct £1 from your credit card, but you will then receive £2.50 worth of credit on your mobile account. If you visit one of their stores, there is no need to be charged on your credit card, but you will need to bring a proof of your age, such as a UK driving license. If you have issues undertaking this during the download process please call Vodafone UK Customer Services for more information.

Please refer to the network operator contact information

      Orange

On Orange UK you can remove content blocking on your handset by using the Orange WAP service during the download process. Alternatively you can unblock your phone by calling Orange Customer Services, or in person at any Orange store.

Orange will deduct £1 from your credit card, but you will then receive £2.50 worth of credit on your mobile account. If you visit one of their stores, there is no need to be charged on your credit card, but you will need to bring a proof of your age, such as a UK driving license. If you have issues undertaking this during the download process please call Orange Customer Services for more information.

Please refer to the network operator contact information

      O 2

On O 2 UK you can remove content blocking via WAP during the download process. Alternatively you can unblock your phone by calling O 2 Customer Services, or in person at any O2 store.

O 2 will deduct £1 from your credit card, but you will then receive £2.50 worth of credit on your mobile account. If you visit one of their stores, there is no need to be charged on your credit card, but you will need to bring a proof of your age, such as a UK driving license. If you have issues undertaking this during the download process please call O 2 Customer Services for more information.

Please refer to the network operator contact information

      T-Mobile

On T-Mobile UK you can remove content blocking via WAP during the download process. Alternatively, you can unblock your phone online, but you must register online with them first, or by calling their Customer Service Team, or by visiting one of their stores.

T-Mobile will deduct £1 from your credit card, but you will then receive £2.50 worth of credit on your mobile account. If you visit one of their stores, there is no need to be charged on your credit card, but you will need to bring a proof of your age, such as a UK driving license. • Security and Banking
    1. Is this service secure?
Yes it is. Ladbrokes Mobile Casino uses 128-bit SSL encryption technology to protect private data and this allows you to safely bet and purchase using real money from within the mobile phone. This is the Internet security standard used for online casinos, and works identically over the wireless networks.
    2. Can I deposit and withdraw money from my account using my mobile?
Yes you can. In order to use this service you need to have a registered account with us, and a registered debit/credit card - both of which you can do online or through your mobile. You can then deposit and withdraw money from your registered card whilst playing a game. The cashier functionality, which enables you to transfer funds between various wallets, is also available.
    3. Can I see my account balance on my mobile?
Yes. The balance for your registered account can be viewed wirelessly through your mobile phone. This is then updated in real time so any winnings/losses you experience can be seen in your account balance.
    4. Can I change my card details through the mobile casino?
Unfortunately, this service is not available, but you can easily register a new card online, or by calling a member of our Customer Service Team.
  • Game Play
    1. What happens if I receive a call or SMS whilst using this service?
Your phone will still be able to receive inbound voice and SMS traffic whilst using this service. Incoming calls interrupt the GPRS connection and the game stops. Even if this occurs during a bet, no information is lost, as your information and bet details are held on the gaming server. The next time you connect, you will therefore continue from the previous point in the game, the same as if an online casino player's PC lost its connection.
    2. What happens if the phone loses connection whilst using this service?
If this occurs, no information is lost, since all your information and bet details are held on the gaming server. You will therefore continue from the previous point in the game when you reconnect, the same as if an online casino player's PC would lose connection.
    3. What happens if I upgrade my handset?
If you keep the same SIM (i.e. the same phone number), which is likely, then you can continue to play as normal. You will just need to re-download the casino game of your choice to the new phone. If it is a new SIM, again you only need to re-download the casino game and login with the existing Ladbrokes account.

It is highly recommended that you delete all the games from the old handset.
    4. How many casino games can I download to my phone?
Ladbrokes allows you to download as many games as you want. However, your phone memory has a limited capacity, and this may restrict the number of games you can actually download. Please refer to your mobile phone manual for storage capacity details.
    5. Why do the slot reels or Roulette ball just keep spinning? /Why do the cards not flip over during a hand?
This happens when connection to the server is lost. The reason that the reel/ball just keeps spinning is due to the fact that the phone has not received the signal telling it when and where to stop play. If you close the application, it will be refreshed to the last known position the next time you log in. This is exactly the same as what occurs in the online casino.
    6. What games are available and which games will be added in the future?

We are constantly working on developing new games, and at the moment the following games are available:

      Table Games:
Blackjack, European Roulette, Baccarat, Keno, 3 card poker.

      Slot Games:
Double Magic, Tomb Raider, Avalon, Mermaids Millions, Thunderstruck, Pub Fruity.

      Video Poker:
      Jacks or Better.

      Progressive Jackpot Slots:
Fruit Fiesta, Major Millions, Treasure Nile, Mega Moolah.

      Others:
Scratchcard, Scratch & Score, Royal Derby.

    7. How do I play the games?
Once you have downloaded the game, the main menu contains a "Help" section. This provides you with detailed information concerning the aim of the game and how to play.
    8. Can I test the games first before I place a bet?
After downloading the Casino Lobby and the game(s) of your choice, you can play a demo version of the game if you wish. Each game has a "Demo Play" feature that is available prior to registration in which you can get an idea of how the game looks and feels. This is identical to the “Demo Play" versions of our online casino games.
