Baccarat is derived from the Italian word baccara, meaning zero, and refers to the zero value given to all face cards and tens. In Europe, the elegant game of baccarat is one of the most popular land-based casino games.
UK players may also know baccarat as Punto Banco.
Baccarat is a game of chance and skill between you and the Banker.
There are three types of bets and the game odds are high:
Player’s hand wins
Banker’s hand wins
Tie
The objective of baccarat is to predict whose hand, the Banker's or the Player's, will be closer to the value of nine.
The Player and Banker are dealt two cards each. All tens and picture cards equal zero. Ace equals 1. All other cards count as their face value.
If the value of cards exceed 9, then 10 is subtracted from the total. For example:
9+7 = 16 – hand counts as 6
9+9 = 18 – hand counts as 8
You can bet on the possibility of a tie (when both the player's and banker's hands are equal in value). This pays out at 8:1.
Minimum bet: £10.00
Maximum bet: £500.00

Baccarat
Baccarat may seem a bit confusing at first, but to play you don't need to be an expert. All you have to do is decide which hand you think might win, and then bet on it.
