The object of the game is to predict the winning seat at each stage of a Poker hand before any of the hole cards are revealed - it's a bit of a risk betting blind, but if the seat you're betting on gets a tasty opening hand, you're in a great position!
If you're new to poker, Pokerbet is a great way of getting to understand what makes a good hand, when to fold, when to up your stakes and generally how to play the game! It gives you the option to play with ‘Demo Money’ before going on to play with ‘Real Money’.
Once you’ve chosen you table and got your chips, you’re ready place your bet! The 4 betting rounds that take place reflect the betting rounds that usually take place during a game of Texas Holdem Poker:
Betting Round 1 – Deal
At the start of the game, 2 hole cards are dealt facedown to each of the seats at the table. Each seat has an equal chance of winning at this stage, and this is reflected in the odds.
Betting Round 2 – Hole Cards
The hole cards of all seats are revealed at the start of the round, and the odds are changed to reflect the chance each seat had of winning the hand.
Betting Round 3 – Flop
The 3 flop cards are dealt into the centre of the table at the start of this round, and the odds on each seat are changed to reflect the impact the flop cards have had on the chance it winning.
Betting Round 4 – Turn
The turn card is dealt alongside the flop cards at the start of this round, and the odds on each seat are changed to reflect the impact the flop cards have had on the chance of it winning.
Settlement - River
The river card is dealt at this stage to reveal the final result of the hand!
Pokerbet
This new version of Pokerbet, which is based on a Texas Holdem Poker themed game, has a great new look and feel. If you want to get your poker skills up to scratch, this is the perfect game for you!
